Bryan P. Horsley, D.M.D., M.S. — South Jordan and Tooele Offices

Dr. Bryan Horsley grew up in the small town of Malad, Idaho. Following high school, he served a mission for his church in Brazil and earned his B.A. from Brigham Young University.

Dr. Horsley graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Louisville School of Dentistry. He received his Master of Science degree and completed his orthodontic residency from the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. Dr. Horsley is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Association of Orthodontists, Utah Association of Orthodontics, Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association and the Utah Dental Association.

He married his high school sweetheart, Jennifer, and they are the proud parents of three daughters and a son. His hobbies include vacationing, skiing, horseback riding, tennis, racquetball, biking and cooking.

 

Ben Frandsen, D.D.S. — Tooele Office

Dr. Ben Frandsen was raised in Brigham City, Utah as one of ten children, and attended Box Elder High School. After serving a two year mission in Argentina, Dr. Frandsen went to Utah State University where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Frandsen went to the renowned Ohio State University College of Dentistry where he received his DDS, graduating Summa Cum Laude at the top of his class. He did his orthodontic residency at the University of Missouri where he received his orthodontic certificate and also completed a Master's degree in Oral Biology.

Dr. Frandsen and his beautiful wife, Michelle, live in Orem with their daughter, 2 sons and their dog Porter. Dr. Frandsen is fluent in Spanish and loves spending time outdoors, camping, fishing, and hiking. He is an avid soccer player and also loves basketball, golf, wakeboarding, and watching the Utah Jazz.

 

Michael Meru, DDS, MS ‐ South Jordan Office

Dr. Meru was born and raised in Thousand Oaks, CA where he spent the first 19 years of his life. Following high school, he served a mission for his church in northern Brazil and earned his B.A. from Brigham Young University upon his return. While attending BYU, he met his wife, Melissa, who joined him during his time as a dental student and orthodontic resident at the University of Southern California. While as USC he also earned a Masters of Science in Craniofacial Biology. Dr. Meru is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, and member of the American Association of Orthodontics, Utah Association of Orthodontics, Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontics, American Dental Association and the Utah Dental Association. He is an editor and author for the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics. He serves as the volunteer Executive Director of the Student Professionalism and Ethics Association which has a presence in nearly every dental school in the US and Canada.

In his spare time, Dr. Meru enjoys spending time with Melissa and their 2 daughters, Elle and Emme. His hobbies include split-board mountaineering, canyoneering, surfing and exploring with his family.
